Donation of Items
The Friends encourages and accepts donations of books, compact discs,
phonograph records, audio and video cassette tapes, computer hardware and
software.
The Friends of the Arlington Public Library, Inc. accepts all print and non-print materials for the biannual book sales, with the understanding that all materials will be disposed of in the most profitable way possible. All donations to the Friends are tax deductible, but the value of same must be determined by the donor in accordance with I.R.S. rulings.
FAPL recommends that all materials be
delivered to a Library facility, so that the Library may select suitable
materials for the Library collections before passing the materials on to the
Friends. Donations can be delivered to our warehouse at 2205 W. Division,
Suite G-4 on Monday mornings from 9:00 am to noon or on the 1st and 3rd
Saturdays from 9:00 am to noon. Pick up of large boxed donations may be
arranged by telephone (817) 548-9768. Donations help make our book sales a
success.
