The Learning Zone - Homework Center
The East Arlington Branch Library Homework Center is a program offered
through the Arlington Public Library System, co-sponsored through Americorp/Vista.
It is meant to be a way to enhance the studies of school-age children in
grades first through third by offering free tutoring and homework
assistance.
Volunteer tutors are available for tutoring:
- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
For more information on this program, call 817-275-3321 or stop by the East
Arlington Branch Library at 1624 New York Avenue and ask for the Homework
Center Coordinator.
Would you like to help make a difference in a child’s life? Volunteer one to
two hours a week tutoring students in grades one through three. The Library
is seeking volunteers to tutor students in early reading, writing, and math.
Tutors will be provided with an orientation before they get started.
