Can
you name the one item that gives you access to nearly everything on
the Web and in print and provides personal assistance to help you
find what you’re looking for? It’s your library card. Check
out what’s new @ the library by signing up for a library card.
“Libraries are unique in that they are the one community institution
committed to providing equal access to everyone, anywhere and in any
format,” said ALA President Carla Hayden. “And librarians are the
ultimate search engine, helping you and your family find what you
need for your health, jobs and other needs.”
From business reference materials to
special web features, the Arlington Public Library system has a
variety of special services. If you have not visited a library
recently, you will be surprised at the variety of materials,
services and resources available to you . . . and it's free, all you
need is a library card. If your old card is expired, come renew it. If you
don’t have a card, come get yours now. Even if you are a regular
patron, we may have something you did not know was available to you.
Come see what we can do for you.
