Acting for the Camera
George W. Hawkes Central Library, The Studio
July 19, 3-4:30 p.m.

camera lenseEverybody loves movies.  Action! Drama! Humor! With so many households owning video cameras, many of us have a chance to be “movie stars” with friends and family.  Actually performing in a film, however, is not as easy as the professional actors make it seem, and it is not the same as being in a stage play.  Acting for the camera can be fun but challenging.  Teens interested in acting and wanting to learn more about this subject are encouraged to attend the upcoming workshop, “Acting for the Camera.”  The instructor will be an experienced actor from Theatre Arlington.  This free program is being presented by Theatre Arlington in partnership with the Arlington Public Library. No registration is required but participants must be 13-18 years old.
