About Arlington Reads

Begun in 2009, Arlington Reads is an accredited program, staffed by Arlington Public Library staff and dedicated volunteers, that addresses adult literacy needs in the community. All of our services are at no cost to the student through a partnership with the Tarrant County Adult Education and Literacy Consortium and Texas Workforce Commission.

High School Equivalency, English as a Second Language (ESL) and Citizenship classes are by registration only.

Adult Basic Education Classes are based on volunteer availability. Call 817-459-6912 for more information or to set up an appointment.
