On September 21, 2023, Arlington businesses and residents will have the opportunity to give back by participating in the annual North Texas Giving Day. During NTX Giving Day, everyone can be a philanthropist to build a stronger and more vibrant community. NTX Giving Day is the largest community-wide giving event in the nation.
Early giving for all non-profits is open. We encourage the community to donate to the Friends and Foundation of the Arlington Public Library ( FFAPL). FFAPL provides financial assistance and helps promote public awareness of the library system. All donations given to FFAPL help support the many resources and programs provided by the library.
There are over 3,000 non-profits you can support for North Texas Giving Day including many Arlington City departments. Both the Arlington Police Department and the Fire Department have support organizations dedicated to Arlington’s first responders and their families. Both organizations hold events that strengthen the connection between first responders and the community.
The River Legacy Foundation was created by the City of Arlington and citizens in 1988. The educational experiences provided by the River Legacy Foundation give children and adults the opportunity to deepen their understanding of the environment and their relationship to it.
During NTX Giving Day, everyone can find their passion and give with purpose, uniting to build a stronger and more vibrant community. Donate to any non-profit of you choosing starting now until in North Texas Giving Day on September 21, 2023.
